While Yim Sing hands over the ransom to his boss Kei Sai, he notices the amount of ransom is incorrect. Yiu-chung catches sight of Fei-yi meeting up with some guy, who turns out to be Yiu-chung�s former brother-in-law Yee Wan-sze. Yat-yin has no recollection of being kidnapped. Kwan-shui even points out Fei-yi has left home. Yat-yin then realizes their joint account is almost emptied. Yat-yin is diagnosed with transient global amnesia. He looks for Yiu-chung as he wants to find out what is actually happening. Both Yiu-chung and Kwan-shui advise him not to call the police. Yat-yin hires Yiu-chung to collaborate with him in reconstructing the sequence of events in the case. But their efforts are wasted. Yiu-chung wants to give Man-nga the money he has picked up. But his creditor snatches it away. Man-nga scolds Yiu-chung as she finds out Yiu-chung has embezzled his friend�s money.
